Summary:
Based on an "at a glance" look at a number of front pages, McCain's
acceptance speech was the lead story in the papers on Friday
morning. Headlines noted themes of change and
bipartisanship. Quite a few papers ran analysis pieces on their
front pages. Photo editors selected a variety of images for page
one. The majority of papers went with various images of McCain
and Palin after McCain's speech, but a couple ran solo shots of McCain
during his speech. NEWSEUM |
