John Berge
(announced Aug. 2, 2008)  Most recently served as the executive director at the Western Nebraska Community College Foundation.  Berge has served as district manager for Sen. Ben Nelson and as special assistant for Sen. Bob Kerrey and for Sen. J. James Exon, respectively.  He has also been the state executive director of the Farm Service Agency in Lincoln, and a development assistant for the Nebraska AIDS project in Omaha.

Has served various positions on the campaign including in the Chicago headquarters and as deputy press secretary in the Rhode Island primary.  Graduate of Northwestern University, 2006.

(Aug. 2008)  Joined the campaign after leaving the office of Sen. Ben Nelson, where he served as a deputy legislative assistant starting in April 2006.  Ellsworth also worked for campaign as spokesperson during the Nebraska presidential primary caucuses.  Graduate of Ithaca College

Graduated from Iowa State University in 2006.  Did some campaigning for Gov.Howard Dean during the 2004 Iowa caucuses and for Sen. John Kerry during the general election.
